Bboy Salute: Lord Finesse

it seems that when the conversation comes up, it seems like people just wanna forget the importance of the Diggin In The Crates Crew. and this dude, Lord Finesse, is the cornerstone to that crew. this was more than just the shit, it was also a signature style that the whole of hip hop followed. the style of beat construction, with the horns echoing went into Pete Rock's sound. if u listen to this second joint, check the method, u can hear Wu's 36 Chambers all in it. style wise. punch lines? Lord Finesse was one of the 1st with the real witty, clever punchline styles that you can hear all in Big L's rhymes. you can even hear his influence on Big Daddy Kane, after Kane's 3rd album.

for those that cant remember, this is the shit that used to rock the clubs. real hip hop once was the top radio shit. shit like this....

and give homeboy his proper salute.
